| Temporary Nut-Allergy Alert from Nabisco |
| For a limited time period Nabisco Ltd. will not be able to ensure nut-free production of the 550g size of Chips Ahoy! Cookies. This only applies to packages labelled with an allergy alert warning.
Latest update as of December 11, 2001: Nabisco Ltd. is pleased to announce that beginning October 22, 2001, production of 550g CHIPS AHOY! cookies will resume in our regular facility, and therefore we can ensure nut-free production.
Please note: Although the situation has been rectified, and we will begin to produce the 550g packages of CHIPS AHOY! cookies on the nut-free production line, there may still be some packaging on the shelf that contains the allergy alert warning.
